A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock.
A special for John Bratley’s birthday, based on Hophead but made with darker malts. Dark golden brown with a thin white head. Aroma is amazing earthy malt, good fruit and excellent spicy bitter hops. The flavour follows on really well. Superbly balanced. Bitter finish with some slight minerally notes. Palate is spot on. Dark Star kick ass.
