Cask@The Wenlock. Very good stuff. The Espresso stout is noticable, lots of mocha and coffee notes in here. I liked the coffee aspect of this beer, but the hops in the finish gave it a lot of depth, and the great thing about it was it wasn’t overdone and it is only 4.2%, so it was something i could of had a few of without any troubles. Very good length in the flavour. Nice.

Cask at The Wenlock. Pruny/ coffee aroma with nice earthy notes. Torrid, coffeish, earthy english hops very prominent. Rich. Opaque black color with a thin but firm beige rim. Medium to light mouthfeel, soft but firm at the same time. Excellent, mild, earthy dry stout.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock A special for the Wenlock and what a special it was! This is the Espresso Stout with three extra lots of hops and then dry hopped too apparently. Black red colour with a bubbly tan head and lots of chunky lace. Dark and chewy grainy malt, rubbery, inky and wonderfully earthy. Superb bitter chocolate and a ton of hops. The coffee notes are even better than the already excellent Espresso and the extra hops gives it a Scandinavian Impy Stout character. Fantastic length from the rubbery bitter chocolate finish. Mouth feel is on par with the rest of it. Smooth and creamy but with a lovely prickly feel from all the extra hoppage. Outstanding beer.
