3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle @ home. Iíve had this beer (and loved it) in cask several times, but not had a bottle in years. It had a much sweeter milk-chocolate nose than I was expecting, and did have a full, silky mouthfeel, but disappointingly less coffee than I remember it having. As it came into contact with the air more aroma was released, but it still didnít give the depth of flavour I thought Iíd experienced in it previously.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours black with a cappuccino coloured head. Aroma is roasted malts, earth but not much else. Not much coffee going on in this brew, roasted malts and earthy taste like the aroma. A nice thick beer though.
