Wonderful chocolatey coffee aromas but no depth to taste. Thin watery burnt espresso taste and then fades quickly to nothing.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Vino Wines. Black body with a thin tan head. Nice lacing. Aroma of coffee grounds, brambles and dirt. Flavour of espresso, earth and plum. Medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation. A rich, flavoursome Stout, especially considering the ABV. Itís a bit watery, but aside from that itís very good. Possibly better suited to cask.

Slightly chilled bottle at a BYOB, BB Dec 2015. Black, no head. Smell - smoke and coffee. Body is light with medium carbonation. Taste - very ashy, semi-sweet with noticeable coffee. Finish is yeasty, watery with no bitterness. The body isnít great and there is something watery and sickly about the flavour. Itís OK overall though.
