Appearance: Dark brown with ruby highlights and a finger thick beige head. Aroma: Espresso, roast/smoky malts. Taste: Low/medium sour and bitterness with low sweetness. Slight saltiness. Palate: Thick smooth texture, light body, average carbonation, lingering coffee, malty finish with an increasing espresso bitterness. Comments: Very good.

Tasty coffee stout, nice notes of espresso, with a body of cacao malt I think. Good beer.

Bottle. Freshly ground coffee aroma, not too strong, balanced with roasted malts. This is the beans-like coffee not the instant cheap blend from supermarket. Medium body, drinkable but 33cl bottle would be enough for me.

Bottle 500ml. Thx Schmaranoia. Pours very dark brown with loe beige head. Some lacing. Aroma is of coffee, roasted malt. Taste is of roasted malt, slight acidity, coffee, bitterness. Palate: Light-medium body. Low carbonation. Overall: Decent. A tad acid. Easily drinkable. The low abv mark is interesting, but the bere lacks complexity.

Bottle from Vino Wines. Black body with a thin tan head. Nice lacing. Aroma of coffee grounds, brambles and dirt. Flavour of espresso, earth and plum. Medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation. A rich, flavoursome Stout, especially considering the ABV. It’s a bit watery, but aside from that it’s very good. Possibly better suited to cask.
