Cask at Coles/Mr. Goodbar Cask Fest. Rich malty nose, nutty, deep ruby, tiny tan head. Flavour is rich malt, treacle, toffee and toast. Medium bodied, very well balanced, lucious texture. Great.

Enjoyed with the organizer, Alex Hall, at the Coles first cask festival. This is the benchmark cask, commonly served in the UK. Pours a dark brown colour, with some dark malts aroma. Medium mouthfull, very good malt backbone supporting a moderate and most drinkable bitternesss. Sessionable.

Cask at Buffalo Cask Ale Festival. Coppery brown with a thin head. Sweet malt aroma, almost nutty with a touch of hops. The flavor is malt forward but maintains a nice balance. Sweet caramel, light nutty. Nice.
