COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Autumn and Winter.
Brewed with the aromatic Amarillo and Cluster hops, like a modern pale ale of the U.S. but balanced by distinctive Munich malt, which adds complexity and a hint of roasted flavours to the beer.

Pale golden beer with a tight white head. The nose is lovely. Lightly fruity with a kiss of light citrusy hoppiness. There is a nice spiciness as well as a bit of lemon and citrus. Soft crackery malt and a touch of toast. It’s a nice combination of US and UK ingredients, highlighting the best of both. Highly quaffable with a lovely lingering fresh hoppiness. A nice bitterness on the finish and even a touch of resin. Really tasty stuff.

Euston Tap. Light haze on this gold beer. Tidy white head. Palate is smooth and dry with a little fine carbonation. Light crisp malts supports reasonable hop. A little repressed orange - grapefruit citrus. Minerals. Finishes dry. Nicely balanced.

Cask @ Craft Beer Co. reddish amber brown colour, reasonable head. Resin hop aroma. Fruity hop flavour, bitter sweet smokey aftertaste. Not bad.

Cask handpull, The Salmon, Leicester, 23/05/12. Orange-gold heaped with a fat stable head. Muted, orange-hinting aroma. Wow; pretty intense, deeply stewed, earthy hop character with woodland notes I’m struggling to describe..hawthorn? Softening creaminess, some chalk and Soothers not detracting from the pungently bitter finish. G+T linger. Hopped-up, slightly wonderful, strangely English stuff considering the name.

Cask at Akkurat. Somewhat hazy golden beer with a small but lasting beige head. Fruity, hoppy, grassy, bready aroma, grapes, apples, metal notes. Fresh fruity hoppy flavor, pineapples, citrus, apples, peach, metal, perfume notes. Long bitter fruity finish with pineapples and metal.

[cask at the Caley Sample Room, Edinburgh] Light copper coloured beer, thick puffy white head. Sweet, thick passion fruit aroma. Good grassy hop bitterness on the taste initially – leading into more floral, mango flavours. Nice bitter finish on the end. Slips from one taste to the other and back without you really noticing, it has a fantastic balance. Really very nice, even viewed without my pro-Dark Star bias [12042012]

Bright golden ale with a rich creamy head. The aroma is of honey and melons. Taste is smooth and balanced with a crisp dry grapefruit finish. A cracking beer you could drink anytime. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a golden amber colour with a white head. Aroma of oranges, grassy hops and caramel. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Tasty.

2 pint takeaway from the brewery. Pours golden, lovely fresh hoppy aroma, mandarin, citrus pith. Follows through to the palate, more fresh citrus juice, nice balanced malty backbone with a long drying bitter pithy finish. A while since I drunk APA but I think this is a stunning sessioner

Cask @ CPK. Deep clear amber color with a small white head. The nose is a bit grassy and fresh, some mild malts. The taste is pleasant, some biscuit meets hoppy, dry citrus notes. Dry finish. Light/medium body, subtle carbonation. Overall, good but forgettable.
