Half pint on gravity at London Drinker 08, afternoon session. Bright golden body colour topped by a fragile white head. Floral-fruity aroma sustained by more sappy fruits - late orange and grapefruit - in a well hopped flavour. Rounded hop bitterness at the lingering ending (12.03.2008).

half @ the london drinker in camden. Straw yellow, little lacy head. Fruity nose. Tart but sweet in flavour with a good steardy hops note. Quite bitter in the finish. interesting, round and very enjoyable.

Cask@London Drinker. Another good one from these guys. Slightly fuller mouthfeel, with a nice aromatic, fruity hop bite. Some lightly piney notes, some grapefruit and a touchy of crackery malt. Pretty good.

Cask handpull at London Drinker BF 08. A blend at the brewery of Six Hop Ale and Hophead. Gold colour with lasting beige head. Grapefruit aroma hits you halfway across the table. Really, really lovely hop. Some malt on aroma. Great hoppy finish. Not perfect, something in the flavour in the mouth wasn’t quite right, but the hop is terrific.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at London Drinker.
Bright as hell golden yellow colour with a slim but tenacious white head. A stunning yet delicate blend of American and New Zealand hop character on the nose. Pine and spruce mixed with amazing tropical fruit and lychee. A wonderfully fragrant aroma. Once in the mouth all that I love about the smell is there in abundance but with an awesome kick of ginger and a lingering bitter hop and earthy malt finish. Such incredible balance, I really could drink this all day. Mouthfeel is superb. It’s all round bloody gorgeous. Dark Star at their best.

Cask @ London Drinker Fest, 2008. Nose of honey, hops, floral fruits. pours an amber coloured beer with a small head. Sticky sweet mouth feel full of hops, very nice.
