An extremely clean-drinking pale golden ale with a strong floral aroma and elderflower notes from the Cascade hops. This beer is full-bodied and full-flavoured yet gentle enough to make it a favourite session beer.

500ml bottle from Tescos. Clear light golden beer with a nice lacey white head. Sweet citrus, grapefruit aroma. Carbonation is spot on making it enliven on the tongue. Well balanced flavours of pale malt backing the citrus, sprucey hop overtones. Slightly astringent dry sprucey, citrus rind finish. Refreshing and delicious.

Bottle - light golden with a lively body and a small white head which fizzes away quickly. Aroma of apple, pear and caramel. Taste of peaches, apples and lemons with some grassy hints. Lots of honey comes through a little later. A little sweetness and caramel to end with light bitterness. Light body, medium carbonation.

Ideal summer session beer this. Slight breadiness up front and your thinking this might be a dull number but along comes a pleasing little bite of bitterness and subtle lingering floral hops. Would like to try the various hop variety versions.
