19/XI/14 - cask @ Stormbird (London) - BB: n/a (2014-1349) Thanks to Hannah for sharing the beer!
Clear light orange beer, small creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, pineapple, passion fruits, citrus, bit sweet. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, almost sweet, peaches, soft bitterness, malty touch. Aftertaste: bit grassy, grapefruit, soft bitterness. Nice refreshing and light beer. Lovely!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Backlog rating. Cask at CBC Clerkenwell, London. It pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is intensely hoppy and fruity with fresh pineapple, mango and apricots. Some grassy flowery notes too. Taste is bitter and hoppy but not overly so, with some good fruity sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A well balanced pale ale

The aroma is light grass hop, citrus, light floral. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light fresh grass nettle hop light toothpaste bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. A little light and lacks defining flavours.

Cask. Pour is gold with a creamy head, aroma is fruity, sweet. Taste is fruity, earthy, strong bitter finish, body is thin, carbonation is gentle and texture is oily. Decent

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light, refreshing yet extremely hoppy - citrus, pine, woody. One for a hot summers day when a lager isn't rays enough.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: light citrus, some flowers. Appearance: slightly hazy, pale gold, small, creamy white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: light body, flat carbonation, bitters continue, citrus zest, quite dry in the surprisingly long finish. Overall: nice Golden Ale, very refreshing aroma and palate. Pint at The Willow Walk, Victoria.
