Cask at the White Horse on the launch night, 20th Jan 2011. The mocha version has a much more chocolatey nose than the standard version but in the mouth there is less of an evident effect than with the vanilla.

Gravity cask at the Euston Tap. Pours an opaque, dark brown with a modest, creamy tan head. Incredibly rich, bitter chocolate in the aroma, with some minerality and hard, roasted malts. Has a nice flavor, light to medium sweet, some bristly cocoa, a bit more forward chocolate than the regular version. Medium to strong in body with fine carbonation. Hard, medium roasted malt finish, some lingering mocha notes. Pretty good stuff.

Cask (gravity dispense from a polypin) at the Rake, Borough Market on 20 January 2011. Dark red colour. Not surprisingly this had more chocolate and coffee than the "normal" version. Good bitter cooking chocolate character. Also seemed drier than the normal version. Impressive stuff.
