Cask at the Harp - London. Pours clear, amber-gold with a tight, frothy off-white head. The nose is yeast and urine with some ripe tangerine and papaya. Medium sweet flavor with bready malts, light yeast, nice and juicy hops of tropical fruit persuasion, mild grass, pee. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Moderately sweet to finish with decent dryness, further yeasty bread, mild spices, some dried fruits, piss, ripening tropical fruits. Great stuff. Well nuanced.

Cask (handpump) @ Craft Beer Co - Clerkenwell, 82 Leather Lane, Farringdon, Greater London, England EC1N 7TR.
Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sharp hops, nutty, caramel, malt - hop bitter, almost acrid bittet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Tangy fruit, a little overbearing really, some spice, pleasant bitter finish but all feels a little unbalanced. Not my thing.

Cask conditioned at Minehead Beer Fest ’13. Chestnut to amber with off white head. This was a richer beer, quite fruity with a wine like character and a hint of fleshy cherry. Lasting on the palate, sweetish. Good stuff.

Cask @ Craft Beer Co, Islington N1. Pours a clear deep amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty earthy hoppy bitter finish.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Lamplighter Northampton 23/08/13. A dark brown to russet coloured beer with an off-white head. Lovely as expected. A floral and fruity aroma. Great hops in the mouth with good, slightly sweet and cakey malts. A very well ocnstructed and balanced beer. Quite wonderful. Perfumed notes. delicious.

Cask @ Brewery Shades Beer & Cider Festival, Crawley, 23/08/13. Pours a dark reddish cola with a small, large-bubbled, white head. Aroma is fresh plums, prune. Taste is semisweet with caramel, some hoppiness, exotics. Grapefruit, quite a bit of orange. Medium, not much carbonation. A bit of a mess this one really.

August 17, 2013 - handpull cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell. Clear deep amber with a small drool of off-white head. Aroma of rye, cereal and some herbal bitterness. Tate follows, toasty malt now and a bit sweet, decent balancing bitterness, no alcohol presence. Light body, a little astringency, medium length finish. Solid, not memorable.

Cask at Southampton Arms. Amber red colour, off-white head. Taste is sweet, marzipan, cherry, malty. Aroma is treacly, fruit, bit of weird yeastiness. Nicer than I expected.
