(Cask at Gallow’s Bird, 20121103) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was white, small and long lasting. Aroma had fruitiness, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was hoppy and bitter. A surprisingly hoppy cask ale but also a good and well balanced one.

Cask, Northcote. Orange golden colour. Hoppy sweet citrus nose then a bit chemical iodine scent. Full complex flavour of earthiness then caramel orange then dry bitterness. Interesting drop not for long sessions. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Straight from cask in The Firkin Alehouse, Folkestone, Kent. Beer in very good condition, lovely colour, super mouth feel, great hoppy aromas, very pleasant aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

keg, Knott Bar, Manchester. Pours a hazy orange. Predominantly pineapple & sherbert flavours giving a bittersweet taste, leafy/earthy finish, with yeasty flavours creeping in. Intriguing and unusual

On cask at OId No.7 Bar, Barnsley. Pours golden with a stiff white head. Aroma was hoppy but as intense as I was expecting. Nice but not as good as I thought it would be. £2.80 on cask and £4.50 on keg

Cask. Haze gold with thick creamy head. Loads of sweet hoppiness on the nose: sweet pineapple and some lemon fizz. Even tastier in the mouth: lots of tropical flavour of pineapple, grapefruit, sweet sugars. Like a can of lilt.

Cask; gold, clear, thin white head; exotic fruit and hops ahoy!; pink grapefruit, lychee, satsuma; quite sweet with a moderately bitter finish; good hop forward ale; reminded me of a less aggressive Summer Lightning.

Aroma: Light aroma of biscuit, lemon and straw.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a frothy white head. Flat carbonation. Nice lacing.

Taste: Sharp lemony taste with hints of peach. I could tell there was Citra in this before reading the description. Nice bitterness.

Palate: Medium body with a very oily texture. No carbonation.

Overall: Bright and hoppy. This tastes really fresh, Delicious.

On cask. Appearance: light orange, decent pure white head. Aroma: Grassy hops, a little fruity, strawberry perhaps, malty too. Flavour: Sweet, bitter, a little creamy in the mouthfeel, some caramel with quite a lot of hops. Long bitter finish. Nice.

(cask, hand pump) Golden coloured, clear. Aroma has lots of citrus, mainly like orange peel or marmalade, piney, plus some cereal-like malts. Taste is lightly sweet with a moderate bitterness, good balance. Medium body. Well-rounded, balanced, smooth. Makes me think of liquid marmalade. Nice.
