14th July 2011 Chelmsford Beer Festival. Hazy gold beer, small suddy white head. Light semi dry palate. Sweetish malt, slightly wheaty in character. Sweetish orange, mild marmalade. Finishes semi dry with a little carbonated bite. Nice sweetish saison. Goes down easy.

Cask at Rai d’Or, Salisbury. A golden beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma has notes of pepper, lemon, and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemon, black pepper, hay, and a bit of malt, leading to a dry finish.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scopey (3243) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 20, 2011
Cask at CP&K. It pours hazy golden yellow, with thin foamy white lace and low carbonation. The nose is full of pepper, herbs, orange and yeast. The taste is tangy orange, lemon, bread, herbs, wood, pepper, yeast and grass, with a long peppery finish. An interesting beer, but there is too much pepper for my liking.

Cask at Akkurat.
Pours a bit hazy with deterget looking bubbles.
Very nice combination of a UK cask beer and a Saison! Nice hop finish.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2011 Cask gravity, Derby Summer BF 2011. Misted gold/white halo. Banana, coriander, dusty perfumed aroma. Really good soft perfumed character. Nothing like an English as claimed. Thick and peppery, big fruity esters. No funk or horse or anything but then saison is a broad church, and this is a proper saison. Excellent.

Hand pulled at the Southampton Arms, London. Very dry. A weisse flavour, sort of, but restrained. Paste, chalk notes, some slight lemon. Very dry. Nice.
