COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Seasonal;
This is a cask version of the Belgian farmhouse ale, historically brewed to be enjoyed by the farmers during the harvest. This beer is light gold in colour, hopped with Saaz, Styrian and Belgian Goldings and pitched with a specially imported Saison yeast that ferments to dryness and provides a distinct flavour.

Cask @ OT. L: Light yellow beer with white head. S: Anonymous. Hints of citrus and belgian yeast. T: Mild. Typical but shy saison taste of spices, belgian yeast and some honey. Smooth and thick mouthfeel. O: Interesting brew. A little shy but a nice session beer.

Cask at the White Rock Hotel, Hastings. Amber with a loose white head; the aroma is yeasty and slightly sour with a touch of coriander; the flavour is also sour and grainy with a hint of spice; and a dry finish.

Cask @ Craft Beer Co., London. Slightly hazy pale yellow color, no head. Weird smell, don’t really know what it is. Tastes weird as well, slightly bitter, can’t think of anything else really. Weird beer, just can’t identify what I smell and taste in this beer. Low body, low carbo.

Tap @ The Harp. Pours hazy amber with a small off white head leaving lace. Aroma is yeasty, quite malty, sweet, cloves and herbal. Flavor is sweetish, malty, a bit yeast and citrusy notes. Finishes yeasty and hoppy bitter. Quite nice indeed.

Cask, The Sheffield Tap. Very slightly hazy yellow. Pepper and citrus aroma. Earthy with a funky under current. Deep salt and pepper finish, more bright and astringent hops.

Hand pulled cask at the Southampton Arms. Hazy amber with a small lacy white head. Noticable belgium yeast and decent resinous hops balance a lovely sweet juicey malt base. I’d love to try this from a fresh cask.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Hazy gold beer, small suddy white head. Light semi dry palate. Sweetish malt, slightly wheaty in character. Sweetish orange, mild marmalade. Finishes semi dry with a little carbonated bite. Nice sweetish saison. Goes down easy.
