3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 sm89walt (1586) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2011
Cask (gravity) - The Fat Cat Brewery Tap/The Cider Shed, Norwich. Clear, light amber with a loose bubbly-creamy white head atop leaving a soapy lace. Nice, fresh & juicy tangerine aromas with some hints of peach. Good tangerine again on the tongue with a zesty lemon note and a marmalade bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body, mostly soft mouthfeel and a lignering juicy finish. The addition of orange is interesting & distinct whilst remaining well integrated with the beer as a whole.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 madmitch76 (9867) - , Essex, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2011
16th August 2011 On tap at Craft Beer. Clear amber beer, good white head. Light semi dry palate. Nice rich marmalade seville orange. Fruity and tangy with a pithy peel bitterness. Finishes dry with a little fresher orange coming to the fore. Finishes dry. A bit different from you run of the mill insipid English fruit beers. Great depth of flavour here, rich. Good stuff!

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London on 16th August 2011. Crystal clear copper with thinning white head and scant lacing. Strong orange zest and grassy grpefruity hop envelop mouth. Excellent balance of sweet orange blus bitter zest in the aftertaste. I liked the slight mustiness and soft mouthfeel. Rated as a novelty.
4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 20, 2011
On cask at Thomson’s Bar. Pours a dark golden colour with a thick white head. Amazing fresh orange aroma with barley and alcohol notes. They have perfectly captured that bitter orange character of a good Chinotto wthout the cola. Lovely juicy orange character, not too sweet. Lovely oily mouth-feel. Lingering bitter orange notes with only a slight soapiness to finish. What a fantastic beer!
