Bottle Ales by Mail. Caramel dominated red ale. Sweet, almost to the point of excess. The hops only show themselves very late on in the finish. Big medicinal flavour on the tongue, with hints of pine. Not quite what I expected, but a big beer all the same

Taste is medium sweet and well hopped, with notes of pine cones, resin, grapefruit juice, mango and hay. Finishes quite dry and bitter. Overall, good

Bottle. Medium white head. Gold to amber body. Nose is peach, spice, hops, pale malt. Bitter with a dry finish. Although good, it was bit of a let down, given my expectations from the name, the brewer and the ABV.
