Cask @ Wenlock Arms, A little unlucky here I think. Possibly last one from the cask but this was disappointing. Clouded yellow colour with a few floaters. Yeast flavour dominate the powerful hop aromas. Will re-rate when I find it again.

Pours cloudy orange with low white head. Aroma of citrus, oranges, light peach and pine. Taste is medium bitter with a light fruit sweetness. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation.

On tap at the Waterloo Tap, Waterloo. Amber with a trace of white head that laces the glass nicely; fresh leafy hop aroma; soft in the mouth with some resinous hops and a mix of pine and citrus; then a leafy bitterness, and a long drying finish.

From a can , pours with a thick light tan head, and a clear golden orange. Nice hop aroma, with quite a sweet malt background . Some super fruity, citrus flavours. Very good

On cask at the Evening Star. Smooth floral beginning. Intense earthy concentrated aroma. Dark earthy fruit together with a great round sweetish malty body. Round and intense, moderate bitter, round and great!

2/23/2009 8:09:25 AM At Wenlock. Amber beauty. Hoppy nose, with lots of grapefruit. Solid IPA taste of hops, powerful citrus, grapefruit and orange. Another excellent Dark Star beer.

Pint of cask at pelt trader, cannon st. Pours clear amber with persistent lacing. Sweet, sticky. Reminds me a bit iof a lagunitas but I often drink that in here so I may be influenced by surroundings. Sensible Abv. Big fan.

Bottle Ales by Mail. Caramel dominated red ale. Sweet, almost to the point of excess. The hops only show themselves very late on in the finish. Big medicinal flavour on the tongue, with hints of pine. Not quite what I expected, but a big beer all the same
