Aroma: Hops, citrus, bread and a bit of yeast. Flavor: Hops, citrus, grass and sweet fruit. I really liked this brew. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 22, 2008 Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Deep golden. Floral orangey nose. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with solid chewy malt. Pleasant flavour of seville orange marmelade and vanilla. Balanced bitterness. Tasty and refreshing with concentrated flavour for a 4% beer. TheGrandMaster (1495), Auckland, New Zealand Mar 31, 2007 Gravity fed half pint at the London Drinker Beer Festival, a clear light amber with a bubbly white head. Packed full of fruity hop aromas - both citrus and berry - and slightly malty. A beautifully smooth palate with a light bitterness that increases with the swallow. Gentle fruity flavours perfectly matching the aroma. Another really good beer from Dark Star. Mes_and_Sim (4495), Highgate, Greater London, England Apr 1, 2007 A Mes rate:
Gravicask at London Drinker. Dark golden and clear. Flowery hops and a little malt. Good balance. Bitter finish. Exactly what you would expect, typically Dark Star but very drinkable and enjoyable.
