Gold with a faint haze and an Orange tint. Tangerine on the nose, more orange on palate plus coriander, butter, hops and lots of ginger. Aftertaste is sharp bitter grapefruit. Ginger & spice is a bit too overpowering.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Woodies Beer Festival, New Malden on 21 August 2010. Surprising to find I hadn’t rated this one before. Clear, bright pale gold colour. Loose, but lasting, off-white head. Excellent condition. Fresh herbal and discreetly spicy aroma. Also clean and fresh on the palate. Lots of citrus coupled with a soft bitterness. Quite floral. A very refreshing and easy drinking summer beer.

Cask @ the Harp, Covent Garden. Gold pour with a white head. Malts, citrus, some caramel and ginger. Spicy ginger feel with a bit of citrus creeping in. A little dry. Spicy, hoppy finish.

A Mes rate. Cask at the Evening Star.
Clean gold body, really good white head and in bloody great condition. Lovely hops and hints of ginger. Massively floral, plenty of tangerine. Nice bitterness in the finish, maybe some elderberry late on too. Perfect for a hot summers day, which is exactly what it was while I was drinking it. Right place, right time, yum.

Dry ginger - not subtle! Possibly some chilli? Bitter grapefruit. Tasty but not easy drinking. Original rating 2.4.

Light haze on this gold beer. Nice hoppy profile. Grassy grapefruit and apple-orange. Spicy dry finish with some ginger heat. Decent.

Cask Stillage at the Boundary, Audenshaw 27/06/2009 Strong citrus hop aroma. White head. Golden coloured and very hoppy with a little dryness and ginger spiced flavour in a crisp and creamy finish.

Cask at the Live and Let Live, Cambridge. Bright straw with a thin white head; complex aroma with lemon and spring flowers; full and satisfying in th emouth with floral flvaours and deep resinous bitterness; long, clean, dry, bitter finish. Indescribably good.

Gravity cask at the Duke Of Wellington (Balls Pond Road London N1) on 12th August 2009 during the pub’s first festival. Gold with small white head that soon disappears. Grapefruit notes throughout, from the initial aroma to the finish. Some background bitterness, and a mildly textured mouthfeel. The total flavour package resembled Crouch Vale Amarillo. Very pleasant beer.

Cask Conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm
Light blond color, hazy. It has a very nice hop aroma; grassy too. Mellow maltish flavor, with quite strong bitterness and some hop quality; unfortunately both the aroma and the flavor are spoiled by a ginger presence.
