Cask, Summer Festival at Far From The Madding Crowd, Oxford. Ultra-pale gold, small layer of fine white. Fresh hay and bubblegum aroma. Fine textured cedar bitterness, a little pollen, very light grainy malt. Clean, refreshing and well-crafted. A really pleasant beer. But it suffers by comparison: for the average brewery, this would be a good effort. For Dark Star, it’s fairly average.

Shady pale yellow color, white head. Fruity, citrus hoppy and sweet taste. Fresh hoppy scent. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium bitterness. Very drinkable.

Aug 13, 2008 Cask at Kitty’s, Helsinki. Golden color with small head. Refreshing tropical fruit aroma with mango and apricot. The taste is biscuity, fruity, herbal and firmly bitter with mango, apricot and lemon. Smooth and firm taste with nice hoppy fruity character!

Aug 4, 2008 Cask.Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, hops, some mild sweet wooden and vanillaish notes. Flavour is quite much the same. A pleasant brew which also is refreshing.

Aug 3, 2008 Cask at The White Swan, St Peters: Lovely golden yellow colour. Gorgeous aroma of grass and hops. The flavour is outstanding, stunning hoppiness. Just a fantastic summer ale. Top stuff.
