3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice head and limpid appearance, grapefruit aroma with a far orange note, the taste reminds a lot some less strong stout/porter beers, hop and alcohol, bitter palate escalating quickly. Neither bad not good in my opinion, but enjoyable if you aren?t looking for elaborate tastes.

500ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario. Golden yellow in colour with a thin but lasting white head, very light lacing. The aroma is of grass, citrus and caramel. 2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 ml bottle from Redmonds. Really clear, quite pale gold with a white head which doesn’t last. Grain in the aroma, some toffee and a yeasty note. Flavour is light and dry, finishes with some toffee sweetness. A touch watery maybe. Light carbonation, light mouthfeel. Nice enough session beer but there are more flavoursome beers work a lower ABV

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml brown bottle: BBD end of Oct 2014. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home after some gardening on 29th April 2014.
Light amber too dull gold in colour, the head a thin white covering and thicker collar. Just what I needed after a little hard labour. Refreshing and thirst quenching with a citrus bite in both the aroma and taste. Not the sort of beer I normally like or buy (it was part of a present) but it did the job nicely today.
