Bottle from the Bitter End, Bromley. Bright golden pour with a white head. Grapefruit, pear, peach, mango and a little caramel aroma. Quite fruity. Fruity hop laden flavours with a bit of a sharp citrus bite. Nice fruity finish. Refreshing.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 fairwater (101) - Reading, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2012
Bottle from Morrisons. Pours clear light gold, very little head. Initial aroma has a maltiness to it, with light fruit, elderflower? Sharp bite of bitterness fades slowly to a more mellow but tongue-coating bitter aftertaste. Grapefruit. Good beer from a great brewery.

A very pleasant drink. Grapefruit and orange, with a honey aftertaste.
A summery drink as per description.

Bottle. Begins with a nice garden hop bouquet mellowed by slight fruit tones and finishes with a slight bitter tone. Overall, its pretty well balanced with the mix of hops stealing the show. I love those cascades.

Now Dark Star Hop Head on cask (preferably at the Butcher’s Arms in Herne, Kent) is in my top 5 favourite session bitters of all time. The rest of the Dark Star range is good but not something I would search out. So, to the Sunburst... Smells like proper beer i.e. cask - bottle beer just isn’t proper beer imo. Good mouthfeel, not too fizzy. This is a juicy beer; lots of fruit salad and grassy lemon and lime rind flavours. Nice citrus rind and hay finish. A tasty beer, and in a bottle - well I never.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 leaparsons (7069) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2006
Bottle. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are sweet zesty lemon, apricot and grapefruit with sweet, addictive hops. Flavours are equally hoppy and fruity with more grapefruit bitterness. Quite light in the malts department but no worry. Dry and bitter on the finish. This was supposed to last one hour - its gone in the time it took to write this.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Gr0ve (2038) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 14, 2007
Orange golden colour and a slight haze. No yeast in the bottle though. Thick creamy white head that clings to the glass. Crisp hop aroma. Notes of flowers, but very mellow. Caramel and soft maltiness. Light crisp hop flavours with a little bitterness. Medium-bodied. Rich maltiness balanced by the hops in a very nice way that makes the beer very drinkable. Very refreshing.
3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Boutip (3971) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 11, 2011
Bottle: Poured a bright golden color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of fresh citrusy hops is very enticing with light floral and semi-sweet malt. Taste is also an interesting mix between some citrusy notes with a very light bitterness and loads of floral undertones; semi-sweet malt base is well incorporated in the mix. Body is average with good carbonation. Well brewed and interesting beer in a style that doesn’t necessarily produces it lots of complex beer.

Bottle, from Waitrose in Lincoln. Gold, lasting white head and good condition. Excellent hoppy aroma with hints of elderflower and grapefruits. Fruity in the mouth with more hops and grapefruit but less intense than the nose. Quite dry and sharp in the finish with a lingering hoppy bitterness.
