Doppelganger (1126), Oxford, Oxfordshire, England Jun 28, 2008 Cask, Far From The Madding Crowd summer ale festival. Yellow-gold, dense fine white head. Very pretty warm hops; melon, but sans musk. Oranges, but orange juice, with none of the bite of the skin. A fresh yellow heirloom tomato quality. Nice full hop flavor but gentle bitterness. Oranges, sweet corn. Soft palate with a nice roundness, though not particularly sweet. An interesting beer, and distinctive even among DS lineup.

Golden yellow, tiny head. Sweet fruity hoppy aroma. Smooth and rich bitterness in the taste. Great summer beer. Should rerate. Jonte (376), Gothenburg, Sweden Jul 21, 2008 Updated: Aug 20, 2008Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Golden color with an unusually big white head.
Aroma of frutiness, sweet malt, grass and a bit of cardboard?. The taste is sweet and fruity with notes of citrus, honey and malt/bread. Compared with the Hopehead this one is more sweet and full-bodied, but less hoppy. Mes_and_Sim (4360), Highgate, Greater London, England Jul 10, 2008 A Mes rate: Gravicask at Ealing Beer Festival. Bright clean gold, excellent white head and up there with the best condition I have seen. Excellent fruity hops, beautifully dusky and aromatic with some stunning peach and grapefruit.
