Cask Conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm
Amber color. Rich malt and caramel aroma, light biscuits too. Quite good strength, but it tends to be thinner at the end; strong caramel flavor, sweetish in the beginning and drier later. Bold final bitterness. Solid but average Bitter.

Cask handpull at Red Lion, Histon. Copper colour with thin off white head. Ginger/aniseed spicey flavour. Ginger nut biscuity aroma. Fairly solid in mouth and then spicey/earthy finish. Very good. Nice spicey winter beer.

Cask Conditioned handpump Market Porter Borough Market. An amber coloured beer with a whitish bubbly head. Big sticky fruity hops throughout. Very resinous. US amber in influence. It has a big body and possibly finishes too sweer, but it’s a really nice beer as you’d expect.

Cask (Pullman, Helsinki) Orangy brown, large frothy head. Good but subtle brown beery aroma. Brown nutty gingery taste, a bit sweet. Long bitter finish - nutty and a bit resiny. A bit watery, but that isn’t so bad as it makes it more thirst quenching.

Cask at The Harp, London. Deep golden beer with an ok offwhite head. Malty, spicy flavor, coriander, ginger, biscuits, some fruity notes. Coriander and ginger flavor, malty, bready, fruity notes. A bit too much spices for me.

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Pours a clear, rich gold with a strong, white head. Aroma is wonderful, at first quite hoppy with strong pine and then spicy with thyme and rosemary. Flavor is lightly sweet with some faint honey and white sugar, and quite bitter with sticky pine and resin. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes spicy and sticky in the throat, balanced with some slightly bready malts. Great beer. I don’t always enjoy spiced beer but this one is a winner.

Cask in Blackfriars. Aroma reminds me straight up of thier winter meltdown, spicey thistle, ginger and pale malts. Taste is similar but with far mor bitteroing hop than expected. Infact without so much bittering hop would be excellent.
