Jun 8, 2008 33 cL bottle, trade with DerDobbelbock. Pours clear and golden orange to brown with a fully diminished white head. Mild spiced and breadish aroma. Flavour is medium sweet initially with a more spiced, yet mildly so, and breadish flavours following. Ends caramel sweet.

Jan 10, 2008 Swing top bottle. Copper color. malt and licorice in the aroma. malty sweet flavor with laurel and apple syrup. Rather sweet and onedimensional, even for a bock.

Mar 5, 2007 Bügelverschlußflasche: Clear, reddish-amber coloured, smaller, quite stable off-white head; light fruity-malty nose with well hidden traces of hops; moderate sweetish flavour, quite light bodied for a beer of 6.5% ABV; light lingering malty-caramelly sweet-bitter finish. Disappointing, no great stuff.........

Jan 24, 2007 Bottle. Clear dark amber color with a average fair lacing off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet, notes of earth. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic.
