50 cl flip top bottle, Darmstadt, Germany. Very pale yellow, pronounced hop aroma (at least when compared to their non-premium pils). Smooth, though more flat, with a balanced malt/hop flavour. Finish is a bit too sweet for me, some hops coming through.

Low white and lasting head. Slightly hazy yellow body. Mild barley malt aroma. Lovely mild flavor with a nice bitterness, grassy notes.

Herber, leicht malziger Antrunk, wobei die Malzigkeit schwächer, die Herbe aber stärker wird. In Teilen erinnert das Bier an ein Alkoholfreies, wenn auch nicht so penetrant getreidig. Kurz bitter, dann sehr wässriger Nachgeschmack mit leicht herber Note. Nicht ausgereift, dieses Pils! Test vom 15.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,6,7,4,7,6 - 5,90

Bottle. The light aroma of hops, light sweet. The white medium large creamy head has a short duration, the body is pale yellow. The taste is light bitter, quite strong taste of hops. The body is light to medium strong, creamy with a soft carbonation.

[on tap at brewery] Spicy and herbal hops aroma with some sweet base malt and a citrus accent. Clear straw appearance under a thick, white cover. Crisp base malt flavour that is sweet and with a gentle hops bitterness that leaves the balance on the sweet side, at least for this style. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, clean finish.

Bottle at Papsø. Clear yellow coloured with a medium sized white head. Malty aroma of hay, grain, bread and hops. Malty flavour of hay, grass and hops. Hoppy finish.

Clear golden with a large off white head. Sweet and malty aroma with caramel and grassy hops. Flavour had grassy hops, cardboard and malty notes. Finished dry and bitter.

Tasting at Papsø
Hazy deep blond color. Light aroma of crispy malt and straws, light grassy hops. Reasonable malt flavor, but just a bit too much of straws. Correct bitterness. Simple, but as bottled Pilsner, it gets a good standing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours a clear yellow with a dense white head. Lovely flowery hop aroma. Medium body, sweet maltiness perfectly balanced by the flowery hops leaving a subtle bitterness. Delicious. 100410
