Nutty brown color, small off-white head. Nutty, diacetylic aroma. Medium-bodied. Earthy, caramelly, grassy, papery. Lingering sweetish grassyness. Quite standard.

Toffee malt and bitter grass hops aroma. Clear medium brown color with nice beige head. Sweet toffee malt flavor with moderate bitter grass/metallic finish. Okay

Draught at brewpub. Pours hazy tawny with a medium, frothy light tan head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is bread and straw malt, light notes of dates, and spicy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with spicy hops and a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and carbonation, medium-low warmth.

Beautiful color, dark amber, hazy; creamy head. The aroma is light, some dusty roasted malt. The body has correct strength, there is some light caramel flavor, and light flavor of roasted malt. The final is dryish and a bit dusty. Commercial.

Sehr milder, etwas modriger Antrunk, in dem das Bier noch keine wirklichen Aromen entwickeln kann. Danach etwas röstig, angenehm malzig, sogar cremig. Wenig aromatisch, nicht sehr tiefgründig aber gut für den Sommer. 9/9/9/9//9

Taked away in the 1-ltr flip-top bottle. Hazy brown-amber colored beer with a nice lacing and foamy beige head. Moderated aroma of sweet caramel and roasted malts, some lemony nose. The beer starts with a moderated mouthfeel but if it gets warmed it would be better and after that short while the flavor gets richer with a nice roasted character and fine sweet caramel. Fine and tasty.

A hazy dark amber with a thick light moka head. Very lemony aroma, herbaceous.In mouth, burned caramel, nuts, rather pungeant, and very short in mouth. This one was lots of good intentions, but definite miss. On tap at bp, oct. 19, 2007.
