Cask ale, full pint at Tavistock Arms in Gunnislake. Slightly hazy golden-brown body. Filmy layer blanketing the glassware, Moderate aroma of brown malts and dusty hops. Taste of caramel and dough with a distant bittersweet ending. Smooth in-mouth feel. Satisfying (First stop on our Rail Ale Trail, 26.09.2016).

Cask at Exeter Inn, Ashburton. Pours copper with a white head. Probably a good example of a twiggy beer. Bitterness from the hop, thin, unexciting.

Bottle, 500ml. A golden colour with a medium white head. A fresh hoppy aroma with spice and citrus notes. Flavour has a little malt, citrus, grassy hops. Light bitterness. A bit watery in the finish. Another boring bitter.
