My first thought was ooohh tastes of the local water. This has a strong water flavour and softness, which I know sounds weird but that’s what I think, with some doughy bready yeasty flavours and a crisp finish. Light and easy to drink.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2012 Darker golden coloured with some fruits in the aroma. Has a very smooth and easy drinking texture to it. Medium bodied, but its less stated in flavours.

Copper orange colour with a frothy lasting white head. Sweet smell of caramel malt with nut and light hoppiness. Smooth frothy full body. Delicious malt and caramel sweetness, with nut and toffee. A light bitter hop aftertate lingers on the finish.

Pig’s Ear. Clear amber beer, tidy white head. Light dry palate. Slight lacto cream in the pale malt. Nice tangerine citrus. Trace of peach. Dry finish. Decent but too dry.

Cask (gravity) @ 28th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2011, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.

Clear light to medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty and toffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111209]

bottle from Dart’s Farm. Chestnut colour, intensive malty nose. Quite sweet, with a pleasant hoppiness, resulting in a bitter-sweet character. Hints of nuts.
