Bottle at the Grenard Restaurant, Wadebridge. Pours light cloudy amber with a small creamy white head.. Light malty, nutty and bready. Taste is moderate and fresh hoppy with a good malty body. Lingering moderate sweet nutty malts, quite good.

Pig’s Ear. Clear amber beer, tidy white head. Light dry palate. Slight lacto cream in the pale malt. Nice tangerine citrus. Trace of peach. Dry finish. Decent but too dry.

Cask (gravity) @ 28th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2011, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.

Clear light to medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty and toffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111209]
