[Gravity cask at the Fez-tival at the Boathouse, Dawlish Warren, Devon] Failed to write down the ABV for this one - I’ve emailed both the brewery and pub but have yet to have a response from either. I’ll update the entry if I do find out. Pours amber, slight white head. Initially syrup-sweet, then growing grassy hops. A dusty straw bitterness in the finish. A slightly sticky mouthfeel means that this lacks the thirst-quenching refreshment you expect from a summer ale.

Cask as Summer Gold at 3.6% at The Great Western Hotel, Exeter. A dark golden beer with a Thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt and flowery hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Cask at The Royal Oak, Meavy, Devon. Cloudy orange appearance. Slight lemon scent. Thin and watery. Some bitterness but not dry. A little nuttiness leading to a hoppy end. Slightly carbonated.
