COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A deceptively drinkable strong ale brewed on the longest day of the year to add extra potency. Devon’s most powerful ale!

Hazy dark red-brown beer. Low carbonation. Lots of malt with an undertone of chocolate. Blends nicely in to a moderately fruity (but not hoppy) mid. Finishes semi dry with a little aniseedy alcohol peeping through! Nicely joined up but overall is lacking something!

Bottle @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009, purchased from Keen’s stash of weird and wonderful UK bottles at Pigs Ear 2008. Dark brown. Decent condition. Sweetish and a little woody. Some boozy fruit but certainly is quite drinkable.

From the Bottle at Chris O’s 05/08/2009 Fruity and slightly sour aroma. Amber red coloured strong in alcohol and fruity with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish.
