Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Fest ’07. Gold with slight white head, hazed. Honey to the fore, flowery and perfumed with a background aromatic nutty character. Very sweet indeed which kills it for me.

Cask (gravity) @ Paisley Beer Festival 2011. Hazy dark golden oclour, off-white bubbles. Aroma is a bit fruity, some vegetables. Flavour is slightly caramel, vegetables, bit of hops. Dry and slight boozy finish.

Cask gravity at Jersey BF 2007. Cloudy amber, bubbly. Slightly flowery scent with apples and sugar. Slightly bitter with a dry end. Wheat and straw in the mouth.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2007. Deep orange gold colour with no head. Reasonable honeyed. Some malt, some hop. Bit like a honey sweet, but not sweet, it’s dry. Honeycomby like a Cadbury’s Crunchie.

A Sim Rate (Cask at Planet Thanet): Sweet honey aroma. Not spectacular. Tastes strong with little sweetness.

Really nice, in aoma is really alcoholic but in taste it is really like cheese, but not cheddar, it is like a grown cheese.

Golden coloured strong in alcohol and hoppy. Slightly dry finish.

I’d actually like to speak a bit about a different Killer Bee than is listed - the one from Tin Whistle of Penticton, BC.
This dark honey beer has an
understated complexity, where you can find such diverse flavours as tobacco, chocolate, coffee, malt,
smoke, and honey. The beer has that honey-ish crispness, and is made from 5 malts, 3 hops, 4
honeys and some spice.
