Anyway aroma gives some floral kind of dustyness. Taste is increadibly normal, the caramel pale malts in the base are not balanced enough by the hops by far, double the hop content is needed. Very disapointed here compaired with the first time i had it. This isnt bottle conditioned anymore i noticed. hughie (3054), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 19, 2006 Golden colour with a large white head. A little malt in the aroma. A sweet, delicate taste of fruit: pears, peaches, grapefruit and some citric sourness. The onset of the medium bitterness is just right, as is the gentle fizziness. johninmelb (692), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 4, 2006 Bottle. Nose is fresh, hoppy and bright with some soft fruit. Pale gold with a firm white head. Flavour is intense - starts gently with some sweet malt, which quickly develops into a big, fat, full, bitter mouth filler. Notes of gentle fruits slip in - citrus, maybe some strawberries. The hops resonate well at the end without overpowering, leaving you refreshed, with thirst quenched, and wanting more. A very well-realised IPA(?). fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Lots of hoppy flavours perhaps with some fennely spice. I would prefer just a touch more bitterness to go with the full hoppy aroma but pretty good overall. thebeertourist (2779), Oslo, Norway
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 23, 2005 Bottle. Amber with a big white head, leaving lacing. Aroma is a pleasant mix of citric, somewhat spicy hoppiness and maltiness. Roasted malt flavours, initially sweet, with some fruitiness, balanced by good bitterness. Very pleasant indeed.
