Great American Beer Festival, 2012. Opaque yellow color, appropriate for a saison. It sweet with yeast, as well as coriander and yeast. Good palate, and the lemongrass nicely compliments the other flavors.

Poured up at GABF 2012 with a crystal clear gold with a thin white head. The aroma has a nice level of saison like yeasty spiciness backed up by some sugary malt sweetness followed by just a light sense of earthy notes. The taste seems similar with sweet sugary malts mixing with spicy saison yeastiness with a light degree of lemon grass notes that add an earthy tone to the experience. To help balance out the sweetness I get a black pepper note from time to time. Pretty tasty stuff.

On draft at GABF. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is sweet malt, some lemon and citrus, with hints of lemongrass. Flavor is similar- sweet malt, pepper, and hints of citrus and lemongrass. Light to medium in body and an interesting saison overall.

Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazy yellow color with a medium foamy white head and stringy lacing. Aroma of wheat and spices. Medium body with flavors of bready malt, lemon and coriander. The finish is fruity with a wheat aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sampled on 10/12/2012 at GABF. This saison pours a light yellow gold color from the tap. Samll to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, spicy and lemongrass. A medium to light bodied Saison. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal. Lively carbonation. Clean and smooth. Nice balance of flavors between the malts, lemongrass, pepper and spices. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
