pours clear golden with a decent white head. pale malts, cereals, some fruitiness, slightly hoppy - so not like a pilsner. just a knockoff from the big breweries - trying to get to the beer geeks to buy their stuff at the cornerstore (for those who can buy beer at that sort of place) instead of the other big brands. they’re both the same.

Can 473 ml
Aroma: mild , sweet sided sugary aroma with light mineral , aroma. Fairly decent.
Appearance: clear golden appearance with above average white foamy top. Good lace.
Flavour and Palate: Medium light bodied. Cereal , soapy character with noticeable hop presence. Slight hint of fusel alcohol on top. Proper ingredients yet as you drink its construction falls apart. Landing with unpleasant emptiness at end.

Gold body, modest head. Aroma of fake hops and sugar. Taste is corn and detergent - really, this is supposed to be based on "German" beer? All I taste are all the adjuncts of macro-brews mashed together into a pretty awful mess. I claim false advertising, yet again.

The third beer from this brewery I am reviewing. Their "pilsner" was watery, bland and tasteless but drinkable while their honey ale was surprisingly good for the price. This is the worst of the three. Watery but also with a strong metallic taste. I lived in Germany for a long time and it does remind me of German beers, but it reminds me of the cheapest German beers that the punks and homeless people drank, proof that adhering to the pure beer laws does not necessarily make a good beer. I drank some of the best beers I have tasted in Germany but also some of the worst. The pure beer laws with cheap ingredients and a poor braumeister can really produce some horrific results. This is reminiscent of that. Stay away from this.
