Draft at Blue Palms (listed as Lost Abbey on their big board). Dark brown pour with a slight tan head. Some lacing as well. Smooth, roasted chocolate nose. Tons of chocolate in the taste and the finish. Some dark fruit notes in there as well.

Tap at The brewery. Clear deep garnet, creamy beige head. Roasted malts and light sweet dates on the nose, would’ve only guessed it to be dark fruits without knowing they used dates. Flavor follows, has a bit more roast and coffee flavor. Not really getting dates anymore. Fairly bitter for the style, actually. Not much sweetness. Dry roasty burnt finish, bitterness peaked at a 4-5. Light to medium body, mod carbonation. OK.

Draft at the lost abbey. Clear reddish brown pour, with an off white head. Sweet malts, raisin, date, chocolate, and a bit doughy. Pretty tasty beer, but it won’t be my first choice among the lost abbey beers.

Tap. Pours clear ruby chestnut, small tan head, some lacing. Aroma is roasty, coffee, dark fruits, ashtray. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter, a bit smokey, some astringence or acidity. Medium body, interesting.

On draft at the Lost Abbey. Dates of Wrath dark lager; a nice choclolate, smoked raisin taste to it with a subtle coffee aroma.
