Light amber color. Earthy malt aroma. Mellow malty taste, ordinary bitterness, some aromatic hop but not impressive.

23.5.07 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber. Anonymous first impression with a whiff of sulphur. Pleasant citric taste and mid bitter finish. It turned out all right in the end.

Had this on Tap at the Rose and Crown in Stratford upon Avon. Golden clear color, a smooth dry bitterwith lots of lacing. This version also had some lemon notes.

Cask. Murky orange brown with frothy white head. Hints of tea and fruit, caramel, mild hop finish. Nothing spectacular but sandwiched in between some utter rubbish, I quite enjoyed it.

Cask @ The Mansion, Gipsy Hill, London. Nose of malt and hops. Pours a golden colour beer with a small white head. Quite a sweet beer with malt characteristics. Not great.

Cask @ King´s Cross, november 07. Shinny golden color with a small white head. Methallic, oxidized flavor. In a real bad condition. Medium to light mouthfeel, empty, flat and bland. Lifeless, astringent, null aftertaste. Skunky aroma with cardboard notes. Dull, off, forgettable bitter.

A Mes rate: Cask at The Prince of Wales, Highgate.
Darker side of blonde with a slim white head and lots of lace. Heavily citric hoppy aroma. Almost astingent hoppy flavour. Very sharp. Slightly soapy. Blah.

Pint pulled at the Anchor & Hope in Waterloo (London), a clear amber with a filmy off-white head. Aroma is of flowery hops and juicy malt. A little sharo and tangy in the mouth, hoppy and bitter with malty flavours and a smooth aftertaste. It did get smoother and more flowery through the glass though.

Amber coloured and fruity with some alcohol. Malt finish.

[Cask conditioned] Amber coloured. Very weak aroma and flavour. A drinkable, but really boring and bland bitter.
