COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Experimental English Pale Ale but using Pacific Northwest Strain yeast. Probably a clone of Rogue’s Pacman yeast. This give it a classic flavor profile than the other English Pale Ales.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2009 On draught at the Dave’s BrewFarm tap room. Same appearance as the BEXPA. Pours a hazy brownish amber colored brew with a creamy beige head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some nice lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, some toffee and floral hops with a touch of chocolate. Taste is medium bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of caramel malt, toffee and brown ale yeast. Finish is semi-sweet, some light bitterness that quickly disappears but leaves behind some semi-sweet malt flavors. Lots of personality in this XPA, stronger in alcohol, yet not as sweet as the BEXPA.
