Full golden-amber colour, a slightly oily character, faint malt accent, some corn syrup sweetness - no real sign of those Hersbrucker hops, though.

Slightly fuller lager than usual. Mainly malt oriented .Light aftertaste. Medium bodied beer.

My favourite of the Dave beer family but that is like saying the best of the Lada automobiles. It really doesn’t quite cut it; who is this Dave that is taking my money? They should have a reimbursement policy for unsatisfied customers. They can call this Doppel-whatever but all it is is your standard boring beer. Fine to drink if you run out of something else at a party...

This isn’t that educated of an opinion cause I was at a party and was drinking straight from the bottle, but this certainly didn’t have much going for it. Some candyish hop notes, fairly smooth, very average.
