CaptainCougar (4624), Rockville, Maryland, USA Mar 30, 2007 Bottle thanks to cbkschubert: Pours a clear bright golden with a wispy lacing thin white head. Aroma of mild pale malty grain and a touch of noble hops. Body starts with a faint touch of sweetness before being balanced by a crisp earthy bittering hoppy presence and a clean finish. Very true to style and something that would make for a good transition beer for someone who is used to BMC stuff. BückDich (4525), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 13, 2006 Pours a pale yellow color, no head or lacing. The nose is light and toasty with some malts and a big crispy yeast and hop note. The flavor is sweet and balanced, nice toasty hop body and mouthfeel. A zesty finish and a nice aleish quality in the tail. Very good hoppy lager. hopdog (4524), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 8, 2006 12oz bottle acquired in trade with cbkschubert (thanks!). Poured a lighter and slightly cloudy golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of grain and toasted malts. Tastes of grain, toasted malts and a light citrus finish. Thin body. DocLock (4083), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 3, 2007 Thanks to cbkschubert for this one. Pours turbid dark straw with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma is grainy pale malt, hops, some honey. Tastes pale malty, with some mid-palate hopcitrus and finishing honey sweetness. Not a bad lager at all.
