Apr 26, 2002 I was impressed with the lovely reddish-brown colour of this beer. This all-malt beer also contains some peated malt, perhaps just enough to give it a woody dryness. Crystal malts also make an appearance and the beer does, to its credit, transcend the typical "mainstream lager with slight modifications" character of so many big brewery attempts at craft beers
