mhfalcon (2), Denver, Colorado, USA does not count Dec 9, 2004 Golden color, thin taste. Used it as a "lite" beer substitute at my wedding, and the lite beer drinkers really enjoyed. Not my preferred style. dirtymike (2019), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jun 5, 2004 Light golden in color with a small white head.Light fruity and hop aroma. Clean flavor, but very thin and lacking. Volgon (2458), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA May 27, 2004 Light straw yellow with a thin white small bubbled head. Sharp earthy aroma, with some light yeast. fizzy and watery. Moldy aftertaste. Much better than BMC. Lubiere (3144), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Sep 21, 2003 Decent head, however a diacetyl nose and mouth feel detected...slight floral notes in the mouth but doest cut through the defect...disappointing. UnionMade (621), Connecticut, USA Jul 7, 2003 Very good beer. I didn't know what a bright ale was, so i didn't go into this beer looking for a particular style or flavor. I figured it was a hopped up golden ale or something. Pours clear and golden, with a moderate white head. Frothy. Aroma is slightly hoppy and light. Flavor is crisp and mildly hoppy. Very light body. Slight maltiness, but mostly a light style with mild flavor. Lively carbonation. Tasted awesome on the beach in late June. I'm going to go with a blond ale for the style.
