On Tap in Albany. Pours amber with white head and some carbonation. Body is full and crisp. Taste and aroma is of bready malt, buckwheat, earthy hops and some fruity esters. Finish is long and earthy. Nothing special IPA.

12oz into a 16.9oz stemmed belgian. Pours a sloppy brown, muddeled with tree bark, tan hues and bulky twigs. Aroma is musky pine hops, harvest soil, dry dirt, some coca beans, and faint citrus. Taste is dirty hops that are not yet ready to be added to a brew, but sprn in their own right. Heavy caramel flare, lemon, pine sap and cones, and hops round out the rest. Chewy mouthfeel, sweet at times, then somewhat bitter in the end. An ok brew. 5.9 fits it well.

Bready and malty aroma with a flavor that follows. Almost no hop aroma or flavor. Good beer but not as an ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The beer pours very medicore with a reddish orange (almost copper) hue to it, almost no head to it at all (even after trying to swirl it after drinking some) and no lacing on the glass. The beer smell is weak with a very mild floral smell but very faint and nothing else to go with it. The taste is average as you get a blend of malty, mildly hoppy taste but not an IPA. The mouthfeel is mediocre as the beer was poorly carbonated and the mouth is mildly dry. Overall, if it was called a different beer, may be an average beer but a very weak, poorly carbonated IPA.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange brown with a thin light tan head. Aroma of bready malt, light fruits, toasted malt, earthy hops. Flavor of sweet fruits, apple, and bready malts. Certainly a lighter, maltier beer more akin to an APA. Still it is quite drinkable and good. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)

16oz draft 8/1/13 (All-Star Village Oneonta, NY)Pours a murky brown with a small head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew was not bad but I was expecting more.

Pours a golden yellow with a faint white head which disappears quickly. Aroma of very little, some faint maltiness, slight buttery diacetl. Taste is slight biscuit, slight graininess, diacetyl butteriness, no discernable hop character.....where are the IBU’s?? Needs work, first off needs a longer rolling boil and some appearance of hopiness to be an IPA. It may have the numbers but something is lost in transition.

Faintly floral and mildly bitter. Mild diacetyl. Not bad as part of a lunch stop through Upstate NY.
