Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Dec 5, 2003 Bronze. Light tan head. Herbal, earthy aroma (grapefruit, toast). Quite toasty in the body, with marmaladey notes. Earthy, kumquaty. muzzlehatch (4425), Burlington, Vermont, USA Feb 2, 2003 Fairly dark, intensely malty and sweet for a low-grav IPA, which is going to bother some but I really liked it. Bitterness really doesn't develop until close to the end but then stays and stays and stays. Very crisp mouthfeel. MartinT (4316), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Apr 29, 2004 (Tap) C-hops cover the faint malt and embrace a benevolent vinous touch...Grassy bitterness carries the beer further but can’t rely on the malt to back it off...A good product which would maybe benefit from more malt and no filtering... jcwattsrugger (3862), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Aug 23, 2006 on tap-pours an offwhite head with yellow color. Aroma is lots of citrus hops. Taste is lots of biting hops. CapFlu (3273), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Mar 13, 2004 (Draught) Pours a medium, white head and a amber body. Hoppy nose yet slightly sour in flavour. Average.
