COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As its name implies, this ale is somewhat red in color. It has a medium body with a sweet maltiness, and a very nice hop flavor and aroma.

Draft. Pours light copper with an off white head. Light sweet toffee malty aroma with some toasty malts. The flavor has toffee, toast, just a tiny hint of diacetyl, and low bitterness. Not bad.

Very solid Irish Red. Pours a nice reddish brown. Taste is very well balanced with just enough bitterness. Bought a growler of it after getting it in the sampler

On tap at the Charlton Tavern. Pours clear red and orange with a 1-finger beige head. Aromas of fruity and doughy malt. Berry and caramel malt flavor, with some grass present. Pretty boring. [710]

On tap. Poured a clear deep red with a slight brown hue and a white head that dissipated quickly to the edges. Aroma was full of biscuit with a bit of grass and citrus hops coming through. Flavor was similarly biscuity throughout with not much else. A bit one note for my liking.

Pale amber pour with a tight white head. The nose is lightly malty with a kiss of soft sweet caramel malt. Fairly toasty with a little bit of toffee on the back. Quite clean and sweet with a nice toffeeish amber malt. A little bit of soft astringency that seems to help cut the sweetness a bit. Earthy bitterness on the back. Simple but well-made.

Looks very clear, but is far more orange than red. Looks like the color of, say, Triaminic. Has a nice head that looks like it might leave a lace. Has a buttery smell that seems to have a nice hop/malt balance. Quite butterscotchy. Smells very sweet but in a smooth, buttery way. Not saccharine sweetness. Possibly has wet hops? Excellent, slightly bitter citrusy hop flavor but with a pleasant mild hop balance. The ringwood yeast is very prominent. Has a buttery finish with no hop bite. Strong yeast aftertaste. Very smooth flavor and feel. Doesn’t have the typical German/amber malt bite I usually expect. Unusually silky. I think I really like this one. Has a nice hoppy/malty balance. Slightly sweet taste. Very appealing.

(draft) Off-white head atop hazy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some lime, light earthy. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some lime, light lemon. Light-medium body, light acidity. I’m thinking the lime didn’t belong there, though I’m not sure I actually disliked it.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a crimson amber with a thick white head. Aromas of sweet malt, more malt, and even more malt. Slightly thin bodied. Ends with a light bitterness. Probably the weakest thing I had of theirs, but still a decent brew.

On tap at The Red Robin in Clifton Park, NY. Nice red color, nothing too striking. Served way too cold. Flavor is very much citrusy hops with a bit of honey. Finishes bitter and clean.
