Eyedrinkale (3111), Beer Town, New York, USA Aug 26, 2005 Amber color with a small head. Decent hoppy aroma but the taste is really dry. Maybe it’s the sole use of magnum hops. A really unique tasting IIPA. gws57 (995), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Aug 9, 2005 Had this one on draught in Glens Falls, New York. Medium copper color and clear, quite harsh in comparison to their double IPA, roses and hops in the nose, quite alcoholy finish. Not their best. egajdzis (3021), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2005 Poured a copper color with a smal, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, citrus hops, and light caramel malts. Taste of sweet caramel malts, mint leaves, pine, some grain, watermelon, and bitter grapefruit. I like this alot more than their double hop IPA.
