Dark, velvety and deep redfruits and a distinct almond, nutty taste. Single cask, only at The Green Man for their Beer Festival 24-28 March

Cask-conditioned at the Green Man, Bristol 25/03/2011. Near black in colour with a slight, off-white head. Nutty aroma with some berry fruit, chocolate and black coffee. Flavour had plenty more fruit and chocolate, with bakewell tart like notes of almonds and cherries. Avoided being too sweet, with a dryish finish. Good.
