COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Well, we’ve changed our minds yet again on this one. We’re a bit like that. Thing is, we’ve been working on a recipe and think it will fit the bill for selling all year. So when the last thoughts were it was going to be a copper, malty brew now it will be a golden, juicy ale. That’s it, honest! Probably... “We’re only here for the beer!” What’s in it? If we stick to our word: Pale Ale Malt from Warminster Maltings Perle and Goldings whole hops from Charles Faram of Malvern Burtonised water, yeast, finings

Cask-conditioned at the Green Man, Bristol 27/09/10. Golden coloured with a decent, tight white head. Bready malts, some summer fruits and grassy hop aroma. Sweetish, malty flavour with a hint of earthiness and gentle bitter finish. Ok.

Cask. Leicester Beer Festival 2011. Aroma is dog food. Thin white head, yellow gold body. Bitter. Dry finish. Otherwise fine apart from the aroma.

Cask at the Wenlock Arms. Pours a clear gold with a creamy white head. Doughy and fruity malt aroma with some flowery hops. Lightly sweet with honey, then very bitter with dirt and florals. Medium bodied with soft carbonatio and some alcohol warmth. Lingering, dirty bitter finish.
