COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION An ambitious attempt to recreate a Victorian ‘Entire Butt’; prior to mass production of Porters publicans would offer two, three or up to six ‘Threads’; they would blend different beers they had to suit the customers preference. Invariably dark, a typical blend would contain ‘Stock’ (an aged beer) and ‘Young’ (freshly-brewed) in varying quantities. This beer is a ‘Five Threads’; a blend of five different long matured and newly brewed beers. Full flavoured and malty with an underlying hop presence.
