COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Full flavoured and malty brew that is smooth, rounded and satisfying.A special brew to celebrate the birth of our Head Brewer’s first child on 12th July 2010.Time to wet the baby’s head! Congratulations to Alex & Marianne Hill and their new arrival; Iris! What’s in it? Maris Otter, Crystal, Flaked Maize, Torrefied Wheat Malts from Warminster Maltings. Target, Fuggles, Progress, Challenger whole hops from Charles Faram of Malvern. Burtonised water, yeast, finings.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 2/08/10. Copper coloured with a decent white head. Malty aroma of red fruits, oranges and caramel with a touch of floral hop. Malty flavour with a touch of sweetness, before some slightly spicy hop character and long, bitter finish. Good - the Dawkins team have got off to a very sound start.

Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks 18.08.10 Pours copper in colour with a few ruby glints showing, good clarity, small residude of what was an off- white head. Good solid malty flavour, rippling but steady bitterness, burnt toffee and fruits also. Very tasty beer, toffee and malt on nose. I really enjoyed this and will actively seek out Dawkins again.
